Marketing Mix – Clever Marketing 1.3

The marketing mix is a framework that provides businesses with a set of tools to promote their product or service effectively.

It includes four elements, commonly known as the 4Ps:

  • Product
  • Price
  • Place
  • Promotion.

Product refers to the physical or intangible item or service that the business is offering to customers.

Price refers to the amount that customers must pay in exchange for the product or service.

Place refers to the way the product is distributed, such as through online channels, retail stores, or wholesalers.

Promotion refers to the various methods used by businesses to communicate their offerings to customers, such as advertising or social media.

The marketing mix is used to develop a comprehensive marketing plan that addresses each of the four elements. By considering these different aspects of their marketing strategy, businesses can reach a broader audience and make better strategic decisions when launching new products or revising existing ones.

While the 4Ps are the traditional elements of the marketing mix, other Ps, like people, process, and physical evidence, have been added over time to reflect the growing complexity of modern marketing.
