We all want to be clever at some point in our lives. This is because we realize that being clever gets our work done quicker and easier which means we have more time for the fun stuff. Over time, I came to understand how important it is to lead a life in a clever way.
Our life can easily become a mess. This is simply because we have so many responsibilities that we struggle to lead it normally. We get tied up in the detail and miss the bigger picture. So, we present to you here, a few tricks and techniques on how to be organized which will take you to your highest level of productivity.
Whether you are a working professional, a student or simply a home staying parent who has all the responsibilities in the world, I cannot emphasize enough the importance of being organized.
Start with writing things down.
This idea might be looked upon as out-of-date in this era of digitization but, people do remember things if they write it down in a notebook which they can refer to in the future.
You may write down important dates or any information at the very moment instead of trying to remember in your head. Trust me! You will forget it. So it's better to just jot it down with a pen or make a quick note on your phone. Better still, use sticky post-its to make a note of what you aim to achieve each day and stick it on your bathroom or bedroom mirror or anywhere where you will see it often. This will act as a constant reminder of what you need to do.
When you have completed it, simply take it down and add the next one.
Keep all important documents in one place.
In this age of information overload, it's not what you know that is important. The important thing is knowing where to find it!
Whether it is an electronic copy or a hard copy, classifying each document carefully with a separate title and folder will help you find things quickly. You will not get rushed and confused at peak hours when you might need everything at once.

In that way, you will get everything when you need it without having to worry unnecessarily. These two ideas may seem very simple but in this modern digital age, we often take these basics for granted.
